Refund & cancellation policy
Rules for Soft Engine Co employment consulting sessions — refunds, deposits, no-shows, and rescheduling.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to prepaid session fees for Soft Engine Co interview preparation. This website does not sell physical products or software subscriptions.
Full refund
You may receive a full refund if you cancel in writing at least 48 hours before the scheduled session start and no session work has begun (including paid pre-session document review).
Partial refund
Cancellations between 48 and 24 hours before the session may receive a 50% refund of the prepaid session fee. Within 24 hours, fees are generally non-refundable except where Soft Engine Co cancels.
Non-refundable items
- Sessions already delivered in full
- Completed written debriefs already sent to you
- Administrative fees clearly labelled as non-refundable in your booking confirmation (if any)
Work already started
If you asked Soft Engine Co to review CV or offer documents before the live call and that review has started, the document-review portion of the fee is non-refundable. The unused live-session portion may still be refunded under the timing rules above.
Deposits
Deposits hold a mock interview slot. Deposits are refundable under the same 48-hour rule. After that window, deposits may be kept or credited toward a rescheduled session within 60 days.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once at no charge if you give at least 24 hours’ notice and Soft Engine Co has availability. Further reschedules may incur a €35 administration fee.
No-shows
If you do not attend and do not notify us, the session fee is forfeited. We wait 15 minutes past the start time for video sessions.
Soft Engine Co cancellations
If we cancel, you may choose a full refund or a free reschedule.
Refund process & timing
Email hello@softengineco.digital with your booking reference and reason. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 10 business days where the payment provider allows.
Exceptions
We may offer goodwill exceptions for documented emergencies. Purchased materials are not part of our offer; therefore material-return rules do not apply.
